The online examination centre improves access to the AMEB's written experience, with the flexibility to complete examinations anywhere at a time that best suits you.
The AMEB has been inspiring excellence through the generations and these syllabuses provide the theoretical foundations that are essential for developing musicians.
AMEB's Online Theory Courses enable students to learn music theory at their own pace, supporting what is taught in the classroom or private music studio.
These courses allow students to prepare for AMEB Theory of Music Examinations in an online setting. Once a student has successfully completed the online course they will be ready to do an AMEB Theory of Music exam.
As of Monday 18 January 2021, all AMEB online music theory exams are now accessible via your online browser. This exciting development means that online users of Theory of Music, Music Craft and Musicianship exams no longer need to download and install software onto their computers in order to sit or review an online music exam. This also means that AMEB exams are accessible on computers and devices that were previously not supported by the software such as Surface Pro computers, tablets and smart phones.
For more information about browser-based online exams, please visit our FAQs or contact the AMEB Federal Office on 03 8660 5800 or email email@example.com.
